- 3 cups shredded rotisserie chicken
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup diced celery
- 1 box (6 oz) stuffing mix
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- Optional: 1 cup mixed vegetables (peas, carrots)
- Optional: 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, milk, onion, and celery. Mix well until fully combined. Add in optional veggies or cheese if using.
- In a separate bowl, prepare the stuffing mix according to package instructions, substituting melted butter for the water for a richer flavor.
- Spread the chicken mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Spoon the prepared stuffing over the top of the chicken mixture, spreading it evenly to cover.
- Bake uncovered for 40β45 minutes, or until the casserole is hot and bubbly and the stuffing topping is golden brown.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
