Description
Lemon Pepper Chicken Cutlets are a fast, flavorful easy chicken recipe made with just three ingredients. Perfect for a weeknight dinner, family dinner, or high-protein meal prep, this recipe delivers clean, bold flavor in under 15 minutes.
Ingredients
- Chicken breast cutlets – 1½ lb
- Lemon pepper seasoning – 1½ tbsp
- Olive oil – 1 tbsp
Instructions
- Pat the chicken cutlets completely dry with paper towels to help them sear quickly instead of steaming.
- Sprinkle lemon pepper seasoning evenly on both sides of each cutlet. Press lightly so it adheres.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add olive oil and allow it to shimmer but not smoke.
- Add chicken cutlets in a single layer. Cook for 2–3 minutes per side without moving until golden and cooked through.
- Remove from the skillet and let rest for 1 minute to lock in juices.
- Serve as-is or with a squeeze of fresh lemon if desired.
Notes
- Thin cutlets cook quickly—avoid overcooking.
- Ideal for meal prep bowls, salads, wraps, or quick family dinners.
- Store leftovers refrigerated up to 4 days.
