- Soy sauce 2 tbsp
- Sesame oil 1 tsp
- Black pepper ½ tsp
- Salt to taste
- Instant ramen noodles (discard seasoning packets) 2 packs
- Cornstarch 1 tbsp mixed with 2 tbsp water

Instructions
- Heat olive oil or butter in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and cook until softened.
- Stir in the garlic and cook briefly until fragrant.
- Add the chicken and season lightly with salt and black pepper.
- Pour in the chicken broth, soy sauce, and sesame oil.
- Simmer until the chicken is cooked through.
- Remove the chicken, shred it, and return it to the pot.
- Reduce heat and stir in the milk or half-and-half.
- Add the ramen noodles and cook until tender.
- Stir in the cornstarch slurry and simmer until creamy.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
- Serve hot with desired toppings.
